Alright…

Time to start using this for it’s original purpose.

$1.99 productions is a independent film production team some friends and I started. We create whatever we feel like creating. Hopefully people will like it. We’ve been working on scripting Tambourine Station—a series about exaggerated versions of Scott, Tyler and I (co-founders of $1.99) taking place in a slightly surreal universe similar to the one we live in. We’re still working on pre-pro for the pilot. Hopefully we can begin production in the summer.

Today we’re going to help Scott with a school project for which we will script a short, 50’s style propaganda film about AIDs. I feel this could yield some interesting results. Hopefully we can have a hand in the production as well, making Scott instantly cool for creating such a badass piece.

I’m going to try scripting some shorts when I have time, just to build up a little buzz before the series is aired (of course by “aired” I mean streamed on the internet leaving us with little to no profit). I’ll keep all two of you updated.
